A Dire Warning: California's Gas Tax Must Be Stopped Before It's Too Late
Sound the alarm! We stand on the brink where the very fabric of our daily lives is under siege by a new punishing gas tax concocted by Governor Gavin Newsom and his Sacramento Democrats.
This isn't about environmental stewardship; it's a calculated move to pressure taxpayers into abandoning their gas-powered vehicles under the deceptive climate change banner while also achieving another desperate source of tax revenue to tackle Newsom’s inability to balance the budget.
Enter Senate Bill 2, proposed by the valiant Senate Minority Leader Brian Jones, our lifeline to financial relief amidst the chaos of soaring gas prices.
Republicans in both the House and Senate are prioritizing YOU, the taxpayer. But as a minority in both chambers, we need a million voices to say NO and demand that this Senate Bill passes!
While the rest of America celebrates the reduction of gas prices and the subsequent easing of inflation, Newsom seeks to extend inflation into the future by maintaining the highest gas prices and gas taxes in the United States.
Trump-Proofing California includes more than providing Super Sanctuary for Illegal Aliens. In fact, Newsom knows that the “Trump Affect” will be a political disaster for Democrats in the state.
Just when you thought there was no room for another tax on gas, Newsom is INCREASING it. This gas tax plot, masquerading as the Low Carbon Emissions Standard regulation, is set to hike gas prices by 65 to 95 cents per gallon. This isn't about saving the planet; it's about pushing you into electric vehicles, whether you can afford it or not while extracting at least $8.45 billion from taxpayers annually.
Governor Newsom, with his eyes on a global stage, is more interested in outshining Biden and Harris’s fake Green New Scam then he is concerned about addressing the real needs of Californians. His ambition to prove California's progressive credentials blinds him to the suffering of our citizens. He's dead serious about his 2035 EV Car Agenda, already banning gas-powered lawnmowers, landscaping equipment, and utility vehicles, crippling 2 million landscapers across the state last year.
Newsom has strategically placed California at the vanguard of global climate action by partnering with and answering to Globalists at the World Economic Forum (WEF), serving the special interests of foreign elitists over the practical needs of Californians.
This gas tax is a regressive policy that disproportionately affects our low and middle-income families. It's a war on fossil fuels that does nothing but line the pockets of the elite while leaving the rest of us to struggle. The economic catastrophe this tax represents will further burden our working-class families, the backbone of our state.
Newsom's policies are spending California into oblivion, with no focus on reigning in wasteful spending, nor prioritizing California's need for water, infrastructure, or law and order, all while subsidizing millions of illegal immigrants. Meanwhile, he entangles California in extended inflation through high gas prices, while the rest of the country benefits from lower gas and reduced inflation.
The infrastructure neglect is glaring. While Newsom dreams of electric utopias, he ignores the unpreparedness of our state's electrical grid for mass EV adoption, which will cost taxpayers $20 billion in upgrades and would still lead to blackouts, restrictions, and an exodus of residents seeking more affordable, free living conditions elsewhere.
It's time to put Californians first and stop punishing taxpayers for personal political points. We must rally behind Senate Bill 2. This isn't just about stopping a tax; it's about reclaiming our right to affordable mobility and our right to work without being penalized by our government under foreign influence and allegiance.
The Democrats' miscalculation in assuming universal support for such policies has opened the door for a bi-partisan political awakening among those most affected.
