San Diego County residents, unite in prayer for our nation, leaders, and communities on the National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 1, 2025! This annual observance, held on the first Thursday of May, calls people of all faiths to reflect, seek guidance, and intercede for our country. Below are opportunities to join prayer gatherings across the region:
Chula Vista: 10:00 AM at Memorial Park Bowl, led by

Escondido: 7 PM at the Escondido City Council Chambers at 201 N. Broadway. 12 local Pastors have committed to attendance along with various local elected officials. Call your pastors and officials and urge them to attend! All are welcome!
National City: 6:30 PM at Kimball Park Bowl, led by

, expecting over 1,000 attendees for a powerful evening of prayer.
Oceanside: At El Corazon Senior Center Courtyard, organized by David Daubenspeck (760-519-9180). Enjoy patriotic elements, a mayor’s proclamation, and live worship, with personal prayer opportunities.
Vista: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM at River Family Church (390 Mimosa Ave), hosted by Pastors Matt and Amy Stoehr, Michael Hubbard. A North County regional event for multiple cities. Also, join a 5:00 AM – 6:30 AM morning prayer and worship session at the same location.
Downtown San Diego: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at Ruocco Park (585 Harbor Lane), hosted by the San Diego Downtown Fellowship of Churches and Leaders, with Thomas Bush (tbush@prayerassist.org).
San Diego Inland: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM at Maranatha Chapel (10752 Coastwood Rd), themed “Revive Us Again,” hosted by Thomas Bush and North City Inland Pastors.
