Surprise Twist to AB 495
Under the blazing sun on the Capitol steps, parents and grandparents stood strong, and our presence made lawmakers sweat over AB 495, the dangerous bill threatening all California children.
This was more than a rally. It was a turning point in California politics, where parents stood together and said, “Enough is enough!” Afterward, thousands followed Lobby Leaders to the State Senator’s office, forming a line that wrapped around the entire building.
Exciting Update AB 495
AB 495 was placed on the Senate Appropriations suspense file. Don’t be fooled — this doesn’t mean the bill is dead. Lawmakers can still push it forward at the last minute. The only way to stop it is relentless pressure from parents like you. Keep calling, keep emailing, and don’t let them think we’re backing down.
