In today's episode, we are excited to welcome Lena Meum, a newly elected member of the San Marcos Unified School District Board. Lena will share insights from her recent board meetings, where contentious discussions regarding LGBTQ policies have taken place. She emphasizes the importance of parental involvement in school governance and the need for clarity on existing policies that affect student safety and education. Lena's perspective is particularly relevant as she navigates the challenges of representing conservative values in a progressive district.
Lena Meum confirmed transgender males are entering public school girls’ restrooms, locker rooms, and showers countywide.
I emphasized that it is crucial for parents to take a stand and dictate these policies, rather than leaving it to the students who may feel pressured by cultural norms to accept these changes. The reality is that many girls are being coerced into silence, unable to articulate their feelings about the presence of a male in their locker rooms. This situation not only compromises their privacy but also their emotional well-being. As parents and community members, we must advocate for policies that protect our daughters and ensure they have safe spaces in schools.
We are also joined by Dean Broyles, the president of the National Center for Law and Policy. Dean will provide an update on legal strategies aimed at protecting parental rights and religious liberties in schools. He discusses recent legislative efforts to safeguard children's privacy and the implications of transgender policies in educational settings. Dean's expertise will shed light on the ongoing legal battles and the potential for significant changes in school policies. Dean Broyles provides legal council and support for Reclaim San Diego and our newly launched Parental Rights Coalition effort, along with Erin Friday.

Lastly, we have Paul Hannosh, an activist and member of the California Republican Assembly (CRA). Paul will discuss the revitalization of the CRA and its role in uniting conservatives in San Diego. He will outline upcoming meetings to educate and mobilize local conservatives to influence the Republican Party from within. Paul's insights will highlight the importance of grassroots activism and the need for a cohesive conservative movement in the region. Text "CRA" along with their name to 760-672-9572 to volunteer and receive further details.
Paul mentioned a significant "sea change" happening in the United States, highlighting that for the past three years, Republicans have outnumbered registered Democrats—a trend not seen since 1991 during the Reagan era. He expressed excitement about this shift and emphasized the importance of making the Republican presence known in San Diego, where he believes conservatives are currently underperforming. The goal of the new California Republican Assembly (CRA) chapter is to unite the right and direct their efforts effectively to capitalize on this changing political landscape.
NEW! Let's unite the right! The CRA California Republican Assembly is forming in inland North County, including Greater Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, and Poway.
Feeling under-represented and frustrated with candidate selections and election outcomes? CRA is the cure to turn your cities red through local organizing!
The California Republican Assembly (CRA) is California's largest and longest-standing Independent Official Republican Party organization, founded in 1935. Ronald Reagan himself called it the party's conscience. We are uniting North County's conservative groups and activists to build a powerhouse against the organized left by equipping you with cutting-edge training and tech tools to turn our activists into force multipliers to get out the vote. Recruit and endorse rock-solid conservative candidates for local offices.
To kick off this initiative, an informational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25th, at 6 PM at J and M Restaurant in Escondido. Interested individuals are encouraged to text "CRA" along with their name to 760-672-9572 to volunteer and receive further details.
